Join the Foundation for a Healthy St. Pete, in partnership with the Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival, for a special screening of the acclaimed documentary Coldwater Kitchen on Tuesday, September 15, followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the power of food, second chances, and community.
Coldwater Kitchen tells the inspiring story of an extraordinary culinary training program inside a Michigan prison, where incarcerated individuals develop professional cooking skills while discovering purpose, dignity, and hope. The film highlights how food can become a catalyst for transformation, healing, and opportunity.
Following the screening, stay for an engaging conversation featuring Chef Dink, Chef Hill, and co-producer Desire Vincent, who will share insights on the film's creation, the role of culinary arts in building stronger communities, and the importance of creating pathways to opportunity through food and education.
